TEACHING ARTISTS WELCOME

Compass Rose Theater, an award-winning, professional teaching theater in Annapolis, MD, seeks teaching artists after school and/or on Saturdays. Must have a theater degree, teaching experience, and experience in the professional theater world. Classes for elementary and middle school students. Must be able to work independently and create a welcoming and imaginative environment for students. $50-70/hour. Education:
Required B.A. degree in theatre, arts education or arts-related field. Teaching artist experience a must. Specific classes the Compass Rose Theater is hiring for include curriculum with heavy emphasis on Shakespeare, Improvisation, Acting, Creative Exploration and/or Playwriting. Must have reliable automobile transportation and a valid driver's license.
