MARK COHEN

An aspiring filmmaker. Mark is observant and introverted, and narrates the show as he films the lives of his friends. Tango with Joanne, movement skills required.

ROGER DAVIS
Mid to late twenties, Male-presenting, any ethnicity
Vocal Range: (B2-A4)
A broken rock star. Roger is often depressed and brooding, but he is an expressive and passionate musician.
Guitar skills are desired but are not required. Note: this role requires intimacy.

TOM COLLINS
Mid to late twenties, Male presenting, any ethnicity
Vocal Range: Baritone (F#2 – A4)
A romantic genius. Tom is a kind-hearted anarchist who has been expelled from MIT. Note: this role requires intimacy.

ANGEL DUMOTT SCHUNARD
Early to mid-twenties, genderfluid, Latinx or Non-white
Vocal Range: Tenor (C3-A4)
A street-wise idealist. Angel is a vibrant, genderqueer street performer and drag queen.
Often interchange their pronouns. Comfortable dancing in heels.

BENJAMIN “BENNY” COFFIN III
Mid to late twenties, Male presenting, any ethnicity
Vocal Range: Tenor (Eb3-F4)
A pragmatic people pleaser. Benny is a landlord trying to get involved in the gentrification of New York City.
JOANNE JEFFERSON
Mid-twenties to early thirties, Female presenting, any ethnicity
Vocal Range: Soprano (Bb3-E5)
A grounded lawyer. Joanne was raised in an affluent, political family; however, she is committed to helping those less fortunate. Tango with Mark, movement skills required. Note: this role requires intimacy.

MIMI MARQUEZ
Late teens to early twenties, Female presenting, Latinx or Non-white
Vocal Range: Mezzo (F#3-E5)
A confident heroine. Mimi is a 19-year-old dancer who views the world through an optimistic lens.
Strong dancer. Note: this role requires intimacy.

MAUREEN JOHNSON
Early to mid-twenties, Female presenting, any ethnicity
Vocal Range: Soprano Belt (C4-F5)
An unapologetic performance artist. Maureen is charismatic, outspoken, and unpredictable.

After review, selected actors will be invited for in-person auditions on
October 7-8 (6:00 pm-10 pm)
with callbacks slated for Tuesday-Wednesday, Oct 14-15 (6-10 PM)

REHEARSALS
Rehearsals begin Nov 18, 2025, on Weeknights and Saturdays.
Please note that there will be no rehearsals Nov. 26-30 or between Christmas and New Year's Day.

Out-of-town actors will be considered if they can audition in person and relocate from November 2025 to March 2026. Housing may be provided for out-of-area actors.
