Students ages 10-18 are invited to audition for our all-youth production, "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare" (abridged/updated)!
Compass Rose Theater, an award-winning professional teaching theater at Maryland Hall in Annapolis, offers young actors a unique opportunity to perform.
Get ready for a laughter-filled journey with "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare” (abridged). This fast-paced comedy, usually performed by three actors, will feature nine to twelve actors who attempt to perform all of Shakespeare's 37 plays and 154 sonnets in just 95 minutes—with hilarious results.

Auditions are Feb 11, 4-6 PM, and Feb 15, 9 AM - noon.
For the audition, you must bring a photo or headshot and, optionally, a resume. Please have ready notes about any date conflicts until May 26. You cannot have conflicts during show dates/times to be cast. Rehearsals will be after school, in the early evenings on weekdays, and in the daytime on Saturdays. There will be no rehearsals on Sundays. The show runs May 16 - 25, 2025, for two weekends: Friday nights and Saturday and Sunday at 2.
For the audition, you will read the sides of the script, which will be provided. Dress comfortably for stage movement.
